i read across fields the way other people change channels:

• mathematics - chaos theory, group theory, game theory, topology, etc.
• physics - quantum mechanics, relativity, thermodynamics, etc.
• ml - deep learning, reinforcement learning, robotics,etc.
• biotech - protein engineering, drug discovery, biophysics, etc.
• philosophy - metatheory, transhumanism, existentialism, omniscience, metaphysics, etc.
• engineering - software engineering, hardware engineering, cuda/gpu programming, etc.

as i said i like to fuck around a lot. so dont expect any deep insights here. just some random thoughts and ideas...
